Mohanalakshmi Rajakumar is a South Asian American novelist, scholar, and screenwriter, with a PhD in English, who tells women-centric stories in unusual settings. A long time resident of Qatar, she created the Short Film Lab to help aspiring young female filmmakers make their first short films. She creates humorous cultural content like in her solo show Being Brown is My Superpower, which channels a lifetime of cultural misunderstandings. Mohana was a semi-finalist in the Humanitas Awards and at the Austin Film Festival.

Christina is a multimedia journalist, academic and award-winning filmmaker. Her video work has appeared on Euronews and TIME.com, and she has been published by the New York Times, the Christian Science Monitor, the Huffington Post, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, and Cosmopolitan Magazine Middle East, among others.
