Welcome to a new feature on the blog, inspired by Mami’s Timeout, Fashion Fridays.
I’ve got two children under the age of four, so time is rarely on my side. My solution to being short on time is the dress.
A sheath dress that ends below the knee can be worn in most office situations and still allow for a little flair.
Here’s one of my favorites: A variation on piano keys. From Marks and Spencer, a British department store, for $80.
Even better: machine washable. Now that’s fashion I can use.

I love the dress! You are so right a sheath is simple and easy but still fashionable!
They work so well for me that I find it hard to branch out into others. But this meme will give me a reason to try!
I like your dress. Yes, I do a lot of shopping from M&S when I’m in London. In fact, I’m wearing something from there right now even though I am in Gainesville, FL as I write this. You can’t go wrong with Marks:)
They should sponsor my work wardrobe, I give them so much publicity :). Department stores are the unsung heroes of women’s fashion – fantastic quality and reasonable prices – especially if you catch them between seasons.
