I was so lucky to have dinner at friend’s this weekend. She spoiled us with excellent table service to rival any Michelin starred restaurant. I was full after the starter – a creamed carrot soup, topped with black beans and caramelized onions. If you’re never tried to get that sweet, tender texture to onions, but want to try, plan ahead. Takes anywhere from 20-45 minutes (totally worth it).
