December is a great time to reflect and remember on the ups and downs of a year. 2016 may go down as one of the worst in recent history for world events, loss of artistic greats, and political upheavals.

What has it been like for you?

For me, I would sum it up in one word: RELENTLESS. Whether I was writing more books, or reading to young children in elementary schools, the year has been non-stop, from month to month, week to week. So much so that I find it difficult to step off the track during the holidays. I’m going to make a conscious effort this weekend to go offline – head full force into real life.
